These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Codestroke (the "Service"), a free typing speed test for developers available at codestroke.dev. By accessing or using Codestroke, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Codestroke lets you practice typing real code snippets and measures your speed and accuracy. The Service is provided free of charge and may change, be updated, or be discontinued at any time.

2. Your account

• You may create an account with an email and password, or by signing in with Google.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and choose a username that does not impersonate others or violate any rights.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, automation, pasting, or any method to submit typing results you did not genuinely type. Suspicious results may be flagged or excluded.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe the rights of others.

4. Intellectual property

Codestroke, including its name, logo, design, and code snippets provided for practice, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service without permission.

5. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

6. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results and statistics will always be accurate.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Codestroke and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
